The SS24A professional self powered full range loudspeaker system is designed to fulfill a wide range of high end touring and production applications. The loudspeaker system employs an extremely efficient 12" neodymium low/mid frequency transducer and an advanced 2" exit neodymium H.F. compression driver with a choice of 70° or 100° waveguides developed specifically for this cabinet.

The SS24A is powered by a sophisticated dual channel Class D Amplifier Module complete with a fully integrated Switch Mode Power Supply and onboard Digital Signal Processing. BvNET hardware and Podware software provides complete control and monitoring of the SS24A´s amplifiers and internal DSP system and facilitates networking in multi-cabinet systems. Acoustic Technologies manufactures a wide range of loudspeaker systems which incorporate BvNET / Podware, allowing a fully networked system to be controlled and monitored from a single convenient location. For even greater capability Podware can be used as a plug-in with AFMG SysTune audio analysis software.

The SS24A is constructed from the highest quality 18mm Finnish Birch Ply coated with Acoustic Technologies proprietary elastomer AcoustiCoate protective finish. A powder coated steel grille, versatile fly track rigging system and pole mount adapter complete a robust, durable and versatile touring cabinet.

The end result is a truly professional loudspeaker system offering extremely high output with a smooth extended frequency response eminently suitable for all music and vocal reproduction.

The SS24A enclosure is constructed of high quality void free 18mm Finnish Birch Ply.
The transducers are protected by a perforated steel mesh, lined with acoustically transparent foam, providing a durable visually appealing finish.

Sensitivity, Maximum Power and SPL measurements are conducted in accordance with the AES 24 Hour Pink Noise Standard.
