Architectural Line Array Loudspeaker Systems

Acoustic Technologies ALA Series (Architectural Line Array Series) is a specialty loudspeaker system providing ready solutions for a wide range of sound reinforcement projects. The complete ALA range has been created for any application where critical speaker placement and pattern control is essential, including outdoor venues.

The Architectural Line Array is a high fidelity sound reproduction system (120Hz–20kHz) reproducing audio with extreme clarity and accuracy. The ALA Series finds ready acceptance in areas where studio quality sound is essential. The ALA Series takes full advantage of the characteristic line array vertical dispersion pattern. Increasing the array length decreases the vertical dispersion of the system, allowing the design of systems providing maximum intelligibility in acoustically challenging environments.

The range of products is extensive with 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, 24, and 32 element systems readily available. In addition the ALA02+T and ALA04+T cabinets feature soft dome tweeters, extending the response well beyond 20kHz. The ALA-FS range incorporates Frequency & Amplitude Shading techniques along with a proprietary digital signal processing system designed in conjunction with renowned system designer Peter Patrick. An active development program ensures on-going state of the art products.

The ALA loudspeaker system components make use of many new production materials including weatherproof PPM cones, neodymium magnet assemblies, perforated aluminium mesh grille and an aluminum extruded chassis which minimizes weight and corrosion issues. The transducers are magnetically shielded.

Acoustic Technologies' engineers developed a simple yet versatile mounting system to satisfy any situation. Rotatable "T" pieces on the rear of the enclosures allow vertical or horizontal installation. A selection of "extender plates" takes care of any required angles.

Typical applications include Shopping Malls, Airports, Transport Terminals, Schools, Bars and Restaurants, Houses of Worship, Theatres, Sports Halls and Complexes, Retail Stores, Family Homes, Parks, Zoos.... almost anywhere. There are over 70 decor matched powdercoat colours, allowing the ALA Series to complement any decor styling.
