The Acoustic Technologies' MK8175 Digital Amplifier is an eight channel audio power amplifier designed specifically for use in a wide range of distributed audio systems where the requirement is for multiple amplification channels housed in a standard rack mount chassis.
The MK8175 utilises eight highly efficient Class D Amplifier modules with an integrated Switch Mode Power Supply for each channel. Each amplifier module provides Soft Limit and Thermal Overload protection, Balanced XLR Input audio connector and a Speakon® Output connector to provide 175 Watts RMS into 4 Ohm loads.
The 2RU Rack Mount chassis provides an IEC mains inlet, mains power switch and power-on LED. A "whisper quiet" cooling fan ensures cool silent operation in noise sensitive installations.
The MK8175 multichannel amplifier finds ready acceptance in a diverse range of applications including audio-visual installations, commercial and retail distributed audio systems, meeting and classrooms, museums and exhibition centres.
